This year’s theme is “Art & Heritage Festival.” The highlight of the event will be held on November 17. In general, the competitions in the Open House 2012 are grouped into two categories, which are academic and non-academic. The competition aimed to improve academic skills in terms of science, whereas, the non-academic competition leads to skills more.
The Academic competitions includes Artchi Sketch (photo sketching contest, Architect Department), Rally in Accounting (Accounting Department), and Treasure Hunter Rally Games (English Department). There is also Shoes Design Competition (shoe decorating contest, Management Department), Informatics Logic Games (competition improving logic, Information Engineering Department), as well as the photography competition “Surabaya in Memories Frame” (Architect Department). There is also workshop about micro controller 89S51 for teachers and students held by Electronic Department.
While in non-academic fields, the organizers have prepared four races. “Futsal, PES 2012, modern dance, and acoustic band,” he said.
